Please Print Out, Fill Out, and Give to An Officer

The team needs you to fill out the Medical Information Form and the USA Rugby Liability Waiver. These two forms need to be printed out, filled out, and given to an officer prior by next Friday, 11 September 2009. Thank you!

CIPP with USA Rugby

Please take the time to do it ASAP, we need everyone CIPP'ed before our first game.

1. Go to USA Rugby.

2. On the left side of the page you will see a menu, click on "registration 09-10."

3. A new window will open up, if not check your browser settings to allow pop ups.

4. Click on "create/renew idividual membership."

5. Enter your info then click the appropriate box at the bottom.

6. If you are a new member or haven't been registered since 2005, skip to the next line. If you are a "renewing member" there might be a few people with the same name who are members of USA Rugby, so when the box pops up with several names pick the approriate one and click on it.

7. Read the waiver and click all the boxes at the bottom (print the waiver if you so choose).

8. Accept Waiver.

9. Fill in info.

10. We are a "senior club."

11. Rappahannock Rugby Club should be the first option, that is the one you want. (Rappahannock Women is the second option and the old U-19 club is the third option).

Dues

Dues are $75. You can now pay via PayPal, there is a link on the Home Page of this website on the bottom leftside. If you think you might have an issue paying your dues, please talk to one of the officers and we will work something out with you for paying your dues. Officers are: Chubby, Yahzee, Gunny, Cuth, Keith and Pete.

Jersey Order

If you were unable to get in your jersey order, don't fret, we will probably make another order later in the season. Remember: The Club provides a game jersey.

Other Uniform Info

We wear black socks and black shorts. You can pick up the socks at most athletic stores (think Dicks or Modells), they are just simple black soccer socks. It is recommended that you buy "rugby shorts" due to the fact that shorts made for the game are a bit more rugged then the run of the mill gym short. Shorts can be purchased for as little as about $22 or as much as $35 for real high tech, wicking material. You can purchase cleats made for rugby as well or plain old soccer or football cleats will do with some minor adjustments. Baseball cleats and golf spikes are a no go.

Normal Practice Schedule Has Begun

The Normal Fall Season Practice Schedule Began on August 25th. Practice is now Tuesday/Thursday at 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Check out the practice page for more details about practices.
