: As far as hotels: The ones in the city will have jacked up rates. The ones in the surrounding cities will have decent rates, but hotels are significantly less plush. Are we going to try and stay in the same hotel... or everybody fend for themselves. Pooler, Port Wentworth, and Richmond Hills are all surrounding cities that will have decent rates... and all are from 8 to 15 miles from downtown.

Well, it does not have to be up to an officer to organize this thing. Anyone can organize a trip especially since the team isn't paying for anything. It sounds like you have volunteered Yahzee, so I'll be the first to say i'll go as well.
