I talked to Kris and he said the hotel we are staying in is booked, but the receptionist gave him a list of other hotels in the area. If you wind up doing a hotel, here's the list she gave him:

: We have two options: Sign up two teams or sign up one and have a huge ammount of subs. 36 people makes it very convenient to make two teams.. but if people are just looking to go down and drink more than play, one team wouldn't be a bad thing. Just want to know what most of you want to do. If we sign up one team the cost as it stands right now will be about 12 dollars and two teams would be 24 dollars.

: Mary Washington has a Duplex on Tybee Island (18 miles from downtown.. about the same distance as we stayed from downtown last year) that they rented out for 1600 dollars. They offered to give us half the duplex for 800 dollars. We could bring a bunch of air matresses and our cost for the lodging would be about 80/person for the whole weekend. Need to know peoples feelings on this. Other option is I can try to block some rooms off still, but there will be no option cheaper than the duplex option. Most hotels are running at 120 per night.

: Lastly, the plan is to get some Jersey's made, kinda like last year. Addidas Black Jersey with A shamrock and event embroidery in white writing and jersey numbers. This not only gives us a momento for the tournament, but unifies our pieced together team. The jerseys look to be at most 50 dollars per Jersey.

: Transportation will not be provided. We can all meet up to carpool down to Savannah if need be. I plan to leave after work on Thursday.

: So as it stands right now, we can look at a cost of a little less than $75 per person not including lodging expenses. So look into saving this much money between now and the 15th of February as we need to order jerseys and enter our teams.

: : As far as hotels: The ones in the city will have jacked up rates. The ones in the surrounding cities will have decent rates, but hotels are significantly less plush. Are we going to try and stay in the same hotel... or everybody fend for themselves. Pooler, Port Wentworth, and Richmond Hills are all surrounding cities that will have decent rates... and all are from 8 to 15 miles from downtown.
